we spend
time in
Arusha,
by doing
game
drives
and
hiking
in the
nearby
Arusha
National
Park.
This day
will
help us
to get
over jet
lag as
well as
adjust
to a new
weather.
We will
also
introduce
you to
your
mountain
guide
for a
climb
orientation
and
equipment
check.

breakfast,
we leave
the
glades
of the
rain
forest
and
continue
trekking
into
open
rolling
moorland.
The trek
takes
about

5 to 6
hours to
Horombo
Hut
(12,000ft),
and both
Mawenzi
and Kibo
peaks
can be
viewed
easily
on the
way to
Horombo.

intended
for
acclimatization
reason.
We can
do a day
trip up
towards
the
saddle
or all
the way
to
Mawenzi
hut. And
come
back to
Horombo
for hot
lunch.

to Kibo

then
down to
HoromboHut.
